      Hi,
I am trying to only allow only 1 media taxonomy to be searchable. I have a plugin which separates my media into folders, which means that my media library is split into 3 folders, but only 1 of the folders is showing in the Ivory Search plugin settings. How do I fix this?

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

Could you please tell me which plugin you are using to separate media into folders?

Also, could you please share the screenshot of the screen where you have created three media taxonomies?

      Best regards,
      Ivory Search Support

        Hi,
The plugin is called Folders: https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/folders/
As you can see on the screenshot, the plugin lets you create folders within the media library. I want ivory search to search only in the ‘IFU’ folder.

I can see in your shared screenshot that the “Website Media” folder contains more medias than other folders this can be a reason that it is not displaying in the plugin settings so could you please try adding more medias to other folders also?

        Hi,

Thank you for your suggestion but the problem is still the same.
I tried to add many more files to the IFU folder, but it is still not showing the other folders in the Ivory Search settings.

Would you mind if I log in to your site and do quick troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please temporarily create an admin user account and share the account login details privately by checking the option “Set as private reply” when replying to this topic?

      The shared details worked.

I made it work by changing the Ivory Search plugin code as shown in the attached screenshot that also displays empty taxonomy terms.

I am not sure why the two terms are still empty even after you have added media to them.

You can contact the folders plugin support to know why the two terms are still empty.
