Using the free version.
I have created a new search page
I then set the Includes to Page only. All other setting for Includes are left unchanged from default.
For Excludes on the Posts slide in the list I selected all the pages I want to exclude.
In options I set it to highlight the search terms.
No other changes.I then add this widget to a widget area.
However, on testing different search terms the pages that should be excluded still appear in the results.
Can anyone help please.

Hi Rocketman,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
Could you please share me the screenshots of the search form settings so that I can better understand it?
Also could you please share me the page URL from your site where the search form is displaying so that I can test it?
Do you use any other search plugin which may be conflicting?
Best regards,

Hi Vinod
https://rocketroseart.com/
You can see that the Newsletter subscribe page is excluded but if you search for ‘newsletter’ it appears in the results.
I use Woocommerce and the product search they include. There is no way to deactivate that. It comes with Woocommerce.

Not sure what happened with the URL to my site but here it is again.

The plugin settings in your shared screenshots display correct.
I have tested it on my test site configuring the same plugin settings and it’s working fine for me using latest version of Ivory Search plugin.
This can be theme issue used on your site so to confirm it just temporary use the Twenty Seventeen theme on your site. If everything works fine then it’s your site theme issue.
Also would you mind if I log in to your site and do some troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please share me your site log in details privately by checking the option “Set as private reply” when replying to this topic?

I changed themes as you asked and it still doesn’t work.
Only problem now is all the widgets in my footer have been removed when I changed back. Before anything else I now have to try to remember what was there and restore it.

Sorry, but can’t do that. Private user details would then be visible.

Ok
This can be due to plugin conflict on your site so please try temporary deactivating all plugins except Ivory Search plugin and see whether everything works fine and then enable the plugins one by one to see which plugin is conflicting if any or use following plugin to check it.

That plugin really did some strange stuff. A lot of admin options disappeared, my site reverted back to a template no longer installed that I used years ago. Very strange.
I did disable plugins but still didn’t work correctly.

It’sreally strange.
Please try doing reverse, instead of exclusing all pages just include the pages in the includes section that you want to make searchable and don’t so anything in the excludes section.

Hi Vinod
Problem solved. It was because Jetpack search was enabled to replace the default WP search. Once that was turned off the problem disappeared.
I now have a different issue with displaying search forms. Will post separately. - December 9, 2018 at 4:42 PM #1109
Awesome great to see you got that resolved and thank you for sharing the solution in the forum.
Have a fantastic day!
