use search in a template part

Hi! Is there an option to use this search in a template part in a hybrid theme? Shortcode support is said to be scheduled for WP 6.3 and using menu locations doesn’t work, either. Is there a workaround? Could I maybe directly access the code that is supposed to replace the default search form to manually include it in my theme (is it a filter action or javascript)?
