      Hi there, this plugin has been great so far! Super easy to set up and use.

      I am using AJAX to search the excerpts of certain pages. The results coming up are correct and work properly, but in the AJAX search results it shows the page’s excerpt from the beginning, so the same text always shows (the first 20 words or whatever I set the length limit to). It does not show the portion of the excerpt that contains the string that the user searched for.

      I would like the string the user searched for to show up as the text below the page title so they can see it highlighted. Is this something that can be configured?

      I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

      Currently, the Ivory Search plugin does not provide this functionality but I will consider implementing it in the future version of the plugin.
