      On WP search I just need to enter autocomplete=”off”, to turn off autocomplete. How do I turn it off if your shortcode? I can’t find a control option.

      I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

      The search form and its text field are displayed by the theme that you are using on your site so you can change it by editing theme searchform.php file in the child theme as described in the following page.

        Thank you for your response. I did find last night that the custom theme that another developer created did not have the searchform.php file, so I added it from another theme and edited it accordingly.
