Sorry to hear about the problem you are having.
Could you please share your site URL where it’s happening so that I can troubleshoot it?
Best regards,

I could confirm the issue on your website which is causing by the below file Activism theme that you are using on your website.
/activism/assets/js/scripts.js
Please contact the Activism theme support to resolve the issue.

I tried messaging Activism theme support :/ they don’t have any advice for how to solve it :/ Is there any alternative solution you have for how to fix it by chance?
- August 19, 2020 at 4:48 PM #5535
There is no alternative way to fix the issue.
To confirm whether it is a theme-specific issue, it just temporarily use the Twenty Twenty theme on your site. If everything works fine then it’s your site theme issue.

So I have access to this file /activism/assets/js/scripts.js
Do you know possibly where inside here exactly I should look for to see what is causing the issue for Ivory Search Menu? - August 20, 2020 at 4:46 PM #5549
I don’t know anything about the theme file code so please contact the theme support to resolve it.
This is your theme-specific issue as it works fine with other themes such as Twenty Twenty theme.

I did message them. They said they don’t support 3rd party plugins :/ there is no alternative?

I took out that function from scripts.js and now it is working. I have a question though how do i make it so it is like the demo where the search pops up and fill the whole screen? Currently mine just fill a small portion of the screen

Please create a custom search form and use it as a menu search form by configuring the plugin settings as shown in the attached screenshot.
