Hi,
I’m trying to make Ivory work on a website I haven’t built but was asked to make some changes to. I cannot at the moment edit the theme or change any php-files.
Problem is that the menus of this site are not assigned to a location, Ivory says ” Navigation menu location is not registered on the site. ”
Is there a possible way to workaround this problem?

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
Problem is that the menus of this site are not assigned to a location, Ivory says β Navigation menu location is not registered on the site. β
Please make sure that you are using the latest version of the Ivory Search plugin.
Also, could you please share the screenshot of the screen where you are getting this message?
Best regards,

It seems from your shared screenshot that the setting is correct.
Could you please share your site URL where it’s happening so that I can troubleshoot it?
This can be a theme issue used on your site so to confirm it just temporarily use the Twenty Twenty theme on your site. If everything works fine then it’s your site theme issue.

I visited your shared website but didn’t find any issue with it.

OK, thanks for looking into this. It is indeed an issue with the theme, which I am unfortunately unable to make chnages to.
So I’m afraid I won’t be able to use Ivory on this site…
Thanks & hopefully until later (with a different site).
