Hello,
I would like to search only sites and posts with selected categories. I already checked the right setting, so I can select my different categories.
My problem is that after I save my selection, the settings are gone and the search is not limited.How can I identify the categories being selected. When I click on them they turn blue and after I save it, the selection is gone.
Is there a solution for that?

Sorry to hear about the problem you are having.
I have tested it on my test site and it’s working fine for me using the latest version of the Ivory Search plugin as displayed in the attached screenshot.
Could you please make sure that you are using the latest version of the plugin?
Also, this can be due to plugin conflict on your site so please try temporarily deactivating all plugins except the Ivory Search plugin and see whether everything works fine and then enable the plugins one by one to see which plugin is conflicting if any.
