      After last update (the 4.7.1 crashed the website and I did must deactivate) if I do not allow a search box in the top and in the footer menu, I see at the bottom of the page two fullwidth search boxes. If I activate the top menu search icon one of the box disappear. I think the settings choice is not understood (!) by plugin because I want only the search box widget that is active in the single post pages.

      Sorry but at the end I solved the problem myself

      It was this code line in the theme extras file:

      add_action('wp_footer', 'viral_news_header_wrapper');

      that calls the header wrapper in the footer div

      I apologize me for the “alarm” but your plugin works fine!
