Very pleased with Ivory Search in its current form.
I am in the unusual (I guess?) position in that my primary (client) is now very large (26,000+ Posts!) dailybusinessgroup.co.uk and so I am hoping to split the site into a ‘current’ site and an ‘archive’. My client wants the delivery of content to be ‘seamless’ but I am keen to reduce the workload for the current site because, as a News site, the vast majority of site visitors are only looking at content posted within the last month.Question:
Is it possible for Ivory Search to be configured to look through two sites simultaneously? The archive site will probably be a subdomain of the main site but does not have to be. My client’s aim is to use their archive for both Post links but also as research material for new Posts. therefore the ability to search across both instances will be- very
useful

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
Currently, the Ivory Search plugin does not provide this functionality but I will consider implementing it in the future version of the plugin.
In the meantime, you can achieve this by developing custom code.
If you are not a developer, you can consider hiring a developer to develop it. You can hire a developer from any freelance site or WordPress agency.
You can also consider me developing it for you using the form https://ivorysearch.com/custom-work/
Best regards,
