HI,
so it seems there is some javascript that is removing the anchor link (changing href=”#” to href=””)
I cant find what is causing this, its driving me nuts.
This has the result of causing a failure in lighthouse SEO, i.e. links are not crawlable. Which is not good obviously.I am using menu search icon- it is definetley something inside the plugin javascript, but I cant locate it.
I have tested this on a few sites, and it happens regardless of theme, or plugins being added.
any suggestions please?

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
Could you please share the page URL from your site where it is happening so I can troubleshoot it?
Also, please tell me where exactly on the shared page it is happening.
Best regards,

Hello! I have the same problem here…
despite seeing the href=”#” in the plugin’s php code… on the published site the href is empty. This happens in the anchor that appears in the menu and also in the visible icon in the mobile version of my site:

@umviajante I can see the search icon href has ‘#’ on your shared website.
Is it working fine for you now?

Hello!!
When I open the site in the mobile version, the search icon is in the upper right corner of the device, the href is still empty…

Have you enabled the below plugin options to display the search icon in the mobile website header?
