Hi,
I’ve installed Ivory search and I really love it for the functions and overall quality. The only thing that annoys me and forces to switch to another search plugin is the results box behaviour on mobiles.
When I search something and get results list and want to scroll it with a swipe – it often just doesn’t scroll. I’ve noticed that this happens when I put the finger onto the screen and then swipe (which way I usually scroll smth on mobile). And in this variant it either selects the text, or just doesn’t scroll at all.
On the contrary, when I swipe moving my finger from the very start of the swipe gesture (without touching the screen first) – then it scrolls more or less okay. But that’s not really comfortable and is very annoying, because the usual way of scrolling doesn’t really work well. And I don’t want my users to experience such difficulties and annoyances with the search box, so I’m forced to switch to another plugin because of this.
Here is the video of what I’m talking about:
I’ve noticed this behaviour both on iPhone and Android (Galaxy S10). And the question is: are you able to fix this and if yes, then how fast you can do it? I’m asking because I really like your plugin and just don’t want to switch to your competitors.
Thank you.

I hope you are well today and thanks for posting here.
This may have to do with the JS library that I am using to scroll the search results.
I will troubleshoot it and will reply to you here.
Best regards,

Hello!
So do you have any insights if this could be fixed and when?

Yep, the same here. I’ve tested it on 4 different Androids and everywhere it works like sh*t.

I troubleshoot the issue and found out that this is an issue with the custom scrollbar library used in the plugin.
You can confirm it on the below demo page.
http://manos.malihu.gr/repository/custom-scrollbar/demo/examples/complete_examples.html
Unfortunately, I still didn’t find the solution for it and it seems other users are also facing it as reported here https://github.com/malihu/malihu-custom-scrollbar-plugin/issues/591
I think it needs to fix in the library by myself or switch to another library which is a major work.
I am working on it and will update you here soon.

Alright, thank you for the reply!
Will you be able to switch to the default scrollbar temporarily, or give such an option in the plugin settings until you find the appropriate solution?

I am working on the permanent solution that is about to finish and will be released soon.

Super, this is the best to do, to hear and to know.
Thank you!

Thank you for your patience.
I have released the plugin version 4.6.5 containing the fix.
Could you please update the plugin on your website and check it?
