I also had crashed. On my plugin page I have this error:
An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 151 of the file .../public_html/wp-content/plugins/add-search-to-menu/add-search-to-menu.php. Error message: require_once(): Failed opening required '.../public_html/wp-content/plugins/add-search-to-menu/includes/class-is-stemmer.php' (include_path='.:/opt/cpanel/ea-php74/root/usr/share/pear')
I tried to delete plugin and install it again, but without success. Same error again.

Crashed the site for me too.
I’ve FTP’d into the site and renamed the plugin to effectively disable it. The site comes back online minus the search function.
I have a rollback plugin installed for just this kind of thing, but alas it will not allow me to roll back. I’ve therefore disabled it until someone manages to patch it.

I am really sorry for the inconvenience caused by my silly mistake.
When deploying the plugin the freemius SDK removed the premium plugin file but the file reference was still there causing this major issue.
It was my fault not to test it immediately after deployment.
I have released the updated plugin version 4.8 containing the fix.
I apologize to you for all the trouble that you faced.

Thanks for fixing this with v4.8. Perfect! (Mistakes are part of life, and believe me it’s a lot worse when the client catches a typo after 10,000 full-color brochures are off the press!)
