I am assessing Ivory search to use on our website but I have a couple of questions.

When a search result that is a WordPress media file it opens a page with an extract and a very large thumbnail with the path to the actual file. Clicking on it displays the file
Is there a way for it to directly display the media file
The page opens in the same tab with no way back unless the browser back arrow is used. If you actually open the media file it also opens in the same tab needing 2 clicks on the browser back arrow. Can it open in a new tab?
What template does the media file display use? We use Divi

      Thank you

      Hi John,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

The search results page is displayed by the search.php file of the theme that you are using on your site so the plugin doesn’t control how the pages and media files will be displayed on the search results page but your site theme controls it.

You can change this developing custom code in the search.php file of your child theme by contacting the theme author or consider hiring a developer to develop it for you. You can hire a developer from any freelance site or WordPress agency.

You can also consider hiring me to develop it for you using the form https://ivorysearch.com/custom-work/

      Best regards,

We are using divi theme and I am told that this theme does not have a search.php file. i have checked in the plugin directory and that is the case.
What would it default to in that case

      Thankyou
