On our site https://ap.washington.edu/ we’ve got Ivory Search configured to not show draft posts, and they don’t show in regular search results. But they do show in the AJAX results.

As an example, type “faculty” in the search box at the top of the page. In the attached image, all the results are drafts. Clicking on any of them results in a 404 for a non-logged-in user.

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

Please make sure that you have configured the same search form.

Are you using the Inverted Index Search Engine or the Default Search Engine?

Would you mind if I log in to your site and do quick troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please temporarily create an admin user account and share the account login details privately by checking the option “Set as private reply” when replying to this topic?

      Best regards,
      Ivory Search Support

We are using the default search engine.

I am not sure what you mean by “Please make sure that you have configured the same search form.” We have our form with its Ivory Search ID which is configured in settings, and that ID appears in the ID for the input element of the search box.

Our site’s authentication is done through Shibboleth with the University of Washington Active Directory system, so there’s no way we can grant access outside the organization.

Please share the screenshot of the whole screen of the search form and I will find out it.

Here are screenshots covering some of the settings. It looks like I’m only allowed four files as attachments. I will add the other three in a separate reply.

Could you please create a new search form and use it instead of the Default Search Form?

You are always welcome, I’m glad I was able to help you with this matter. There is no obligation but by your kind words I wonder if I could trouble you to leave a review based on this experience here:

      https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/add-search-to-menu/reviews/?filter=5

      I’d really appreciate that. 🙂

And if I can be of any further assistance please don’t hesitate to ask.
