It seems that the dropdown menu is already active before clicking on the magnifier. When I open my homepage the search bar is already there.
Anyone else noticing this? - May 5, 2020 at 9:45 PM #4561
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
Could you please share your site URL where it’s happening so that I can troubleshoot it?
Best regards,

It seems the issue of cache that you are using on your website.
Could you please try clearing and temporarily deactivating the WP Fastest Cache and autoptimize cache that you are using on your website?

Thank you, seemed to have solved the problem! I deactivated autoptimize which made the issue go away.
If I may ask, how did you find out that cache caused the problem? And is there anyway I can use autoptimize without it causing this issue?
Thanks again - May 6, 2020 at 8:19 PM #4578
You have to just clear the autoptimize cache every time after making any changes in the plugin settings.
You are most welcome, I’m glad I was able to help you with this matter. There is no obligation but by your kind words I wonder if I could trouble you to leave a review based on this experience here:

I’d really appreciate that. 🙂
And if I can be of any further assistance please don’t hesitate to ask.

Okay I tried deleting Autoptimize and downloading it again and setting up the settings again but the same problem occured. I have now deleted and will probably wait with reinstalling. Any other plug-ins you can recommend to speed up a website?
Thanks again!

Instead of deleting it, have you tried clearing its cache as requested earlier above?
- May 7, 2020 at 4:13 PM #4596
Yes I did try that actually before deleting it. For some reason the problem reappeared even after clearing the cache.

Then you can try using other cache plugins as listed on the below page.
