Hi folks,
I’m using the Byrne theme, which uses Templates.. so there’s no Search.php.. I’ve configured a template for the search page.. but Ivory search appears to be using either finding a .php somewhere or using default format??I just want to add pagination.
When I use the WordPress search it’s not a problem.. it presents the correct template.
When I use the inverted index search engine.. it shows the 12 results, no pagination, no customisation from the search template.Any tips? (the inverted search clearly performs better, so I’d like to use it if I can)
Best regards, Dermot.

Hi Fabio, thanks for the response.. I actually discovered that it was a bug in the theme template, that was not updating the pagination… I made some changes to force a refresh of the template, and it all started working again!! Very strange.. but probably a wordpress issue, not an Ivory Search issue… love the product! Keep up the good work!

Hi folks,
It appears I’m still having this issue.
So when I switch to inverted index search engine, I’m not getting pagination.
When I switch back to default wordpress, pagination is fine (but the results are poor)
I can change the “nr of posts on page” and I see more results.. but they do not paginate.. only ever 1 page. This is confusing me, because I had assumed the different searches would still use the same Search page template.
Any ideas?

help us keep the support thread separated could you please create your own topic for your question instead of posting a reply on others’ thread as it makes the thread messy and hard to read.
If you want to you can also add a reference to this thread in your newly created thread.
We would be more than happy to help you with your new thread.
