Dear Sir,
I use ivory search plugin to do woocommerce product search and wordpress post search. I created two different search forms (shortcodes), one for post and one for woocommerce products. Also, I use elementor to create the search result page template for both search result output.
When executing the search forms built with ivory search plugin in frontend page, the wordpress post search works well, but there is problem in woocommerce product search.
After carefully checking, I notice that the search query sting of ivory search for woocommerce product is actually shown as below:
And, there is NOTHING found, despite I do have a product named test. And the display search result page is definitely not the search result page template as I designed using elementor theme builder.
When doing the wordpress post search using the ivory search form, the query string looks like below:
And, it displays all the posts with weee keywords in it, in the search result page template format as I designed use elementor.
When I tried to change the woocommerce product query string auto generated by the ivory search form as below:
“https://mysite.com/?s=test&id=1542&post_type=products” (Note: replace product with products)
The search result comes out as expected and displayed in the search result page template format as I designed with elementor.
So, how can I change the query string of ivory search form for woocommerce products, from “post_type=product” to “post_type=products”, in order to resolve the product not found issue?
Please kindly advise and help at your earliest convenience. Thanks!
