I am trying to get Ivory Search to work with Themify, but the search results do not match the settings I have made in Ivory Search. I have turned of all other Search plugins. I set up a test page here.
Example 1: (see the first three attached screenshots) I set Ivory to search only post type “Curriculum Doc” set to category “Curriculum-Teacher.” Searching for word “genes” I receive two results. The first result is fine (the word “genes” is in the content of this curriculum-doc). The second result is also a curriculum-doc, but it is NOT set to category “Curriculum-Teacher”. Also, there is at least one additional curriculum-doc with the word “genes” in it, and the word is in the title of the document.
Example 2: I set Ivory Search to search just Page and Post types. I search for the word “kokanee” and receive results from all types, including curriculum docs. Yikes.
Example 3: I set Ivory to search only Posts. I search for the word “researcher” and it retrieves results from three Posts, BUT I happen to know of at least one recent post with the word “researcher” in it (see screenshot 4), and there are quite possibly more.
BTW, I am very happy to purchase the paid version of Ivory Search for our site. I just need to ensure that it will work. 🙂
Thank you so much for taking a look at this.
My best,
David

I hope you are well today and thank you for your questions.
It works fine for me on the below search results page as shown in the attached screenshot.

Please advise.
Example 2: I set Ivory Search to search just Page and Post types. I search for the word “kokanee” and receive results from all types, including curriculum docs. Yikes.
Could you please share the screenshot of the search form post type setting that you have configured?
Example 3: I set Ivory to search only Posts. I search for the word “researcher” and it retrieves results from three Posts, BUT I happen to know of at least one recent post with the word “researcher” in it (see screenshot 4), and there are quite possibly more.
Could you please share the post URL from your site where it is displaying so that I can troubleshoot it?
Best regards,
