      Hi there,

Had a question, is it possible to make different search forms with different paramaters?

I have everything set up, but how do I make different search forms (like a different shortcode) so one of them for example only searches in 1 category.

I don’t want all the searches (since theyre on multiple pages) having that restriction, just wondering if I can customize it to make multiple.

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

Yes, you can achieve this using the Ivory Search plugin.

You have to just create multiple search forms and configure them differently to search posts in specific category then use those search forms on your site using their shortcodes as described in the below documentation.

Please advise if you have more questions.

      Best regards,

Thank you for the explanation. I tried doing this but when inserting the new created shortcode, it disappeared from the page and I am not sure why. If I put back the ‘default’ search it works fine, but any new search form I insert does not work.

You can see here, I put two search forms but only the default one shows.

Please make sure that the Video search form having ID 894896 exists and try resetting that search form by clicking on the Reset button.
