for free version you can only select title, contents, etcetc to show in the result, is there a way to specify custom field to show in search result? or the pro version can provide such feature?

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
You can also search for posts or pages by its custom field values in the free version of the plugin.
To achieve this, just configure the search form as displayed in the attached screenshot.
Please note that this does not display custom fields in the search results but display post types having the custom fields values.
Best regards,

thanks, but I think you have misunderstood me, what i mean is display on search result, not what to search for.

Yes, as said above this does not display custom fields in the search results but display post types having the custom fields values.
The search results page is displayed by the search.php file of the theme that you are using on your site so the plugin doesn’t control how it will be displayed on the search results page but your site theme controls it.
You can display custom fields in the search results developing custom code in the search.php file of your child theme by contacting the theme author or consider hiring a developer to develop it for you. You can hire a developer from any freelance site or WordPress agency.
You can also consider hiring us to develop it for you using the form https://ivorysearch.com/custom-work/
