      Hello support,

I’m experiencing an issue with how search results are displayed when combining WooCommerce products and a custom post type called “references” in my search results.

      Current behavior:
      – When searching only products: Results display correctly in the product grid view on the shop page
      – When search includes our “references” custom post type: ALL results (including products) switch to a list view format

Is there a way to configure Ivory Search to maintain the product grid view for products while still including our custom post type in the search results? Perhaps a filter or template modification that would allow for mixed display formats on the same results page?

I appreciate any guidance you can provide on preserving the correct display format for each post type in combined search results.

      Best regards

I hope you are well today, and thank you for your question.

The search results page is displayed by the search.php or search.html file of the theme you are using on your site. So, the plugin doesn’t control how the posts and their view will be displayed on the search results page; your site theme does.

You can change this developing custom code in the search.php file of your child theme by contacting the theme author or consider hiring a developer to develop it for you. You can hire a developer from any freelance site or WordPress agency.

You can also consider hiring me to develop it for you using the form https://ivorysearch.com/custom-work/

      Best regards,
