      Hi All,

      I am the admin for a school website (of which we engaged a design company to create – so I have limited knowledge of WordPress). I have installed and activated the search function and it works fine when logged in to WordPress – however, when I access the website from ‘outside’ (incognito window or via mobile), the search button isn’t clickable and it has not carried over the custom CSS (changing the magnifying glass icon from black to white).

      I’m at a loss to understand why it would work fine when logged in to WordPress, but not work at all when logged out?

      Hi James,

      I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

      Are you using any cache plugin on your site?

      If yes then please try clearing the cache or temporarily disabling the cache plugins.

      If the issue still persists then could you please share me the page URL from your site where it is displaying so that I can troubleshoot it?
