I just started using Ivory and the search results worked perfectly as my pdfs were found. When you select a result that is a pdf file ( not a page ) it open up a page with the pdf file in the middle so you can then view it. I was expecting ( hoping ) that clicking on the pdf would just open the pdf… see attached gif. Please tell me if this is just a setting I missed, or if buying the full product allows this..
