I have a site that has been using this plugin for a few years now. We want to make some changes to which ACF fields are included in the search, but it is not recognizing my changes. It still stubbornly shows results from the ACF field we had set in the beginning, even when I alter the search form settings to include NO custom fields at all (as well as simply changing which fields).
I have rebuilt the index many times, and also tried adjusting what to (or not to) index in the main plugin settings, all to no avail.
Changing settings for which categories to include still works. It’s just not recognizing my changes to custom ACF fields.
Can anyone suggest how to fix this?
UPDATE for anyone else that has this problem: I discovered that this issue only takes place when Relevanssi plugin is active. When Relevanssi is deactivated, Ivory Search includes and excludes custom field content per to the settings.
So, it would appear that these two plugins cannot be enabled at the same time.
