Hello, first of all, thanks for the great plugin.

The search works great with translated pages in regular search results, but the AJAX functionality (results as you type) only works with the orignal document (which is in English).

See the attachments: typing “Ge” shows the result because it finds it on the English text that is not translated. In the picture, with one more later “Gew” because there’s not Engish term for this.

Additionally, for some reason, the next letter get’s capitalized in the results post title. I don’t know why.

My question, does the AJAX search support translations the way provided by TranslatePress?

I know that the normal search, i.e. pressing Enter after typing your term, works well. See the last picture.

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

It seems AJAX search-related issue which was previously reported in the translatepress plugin support forum as below.

      https://wordpress.org/support/topic/translatepress-ajax-search-results-not-working/#post-13269225
      https://wordpress.org/support/topic/no-search-result-found-when-translating/#post-16973601

Could you please contact the translatepress plugin support to know whether you have to configure any plugin settings to make the AJAX search work?

      Best regards,
      Ivory Search Support
