All my products are variations. The search is returning them perfectly but the thing is, I’d rather if the flyout/popup part where you can actually add to cart would just be the main listing so I can “add to cart” right from the first panel, not the popup panel.

The problem is that on mobile that flyout is always hidden off the side of the screen. I’m trying to achieve a “quick” method of adding items to the cart and if they can’t SEE the add to cart button, it’s not very quick šŸ™‚

I’ve attached a screengrab of what I’m taking about. The add to cart panel on the right, I’d rather just have that on the left (for all the options).

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

To achieve this, you have to develop custom code.

If you are not a developer then you can consider hiring a developer to develop it for you. You can hire a developer from any freelance site or WordPress agency.

You can also consider us to develop it for you using the form https://ivorysearch.com/custom-work/

      Best regards,
      Ivory Search Support

I’m a developer. Can you point me in the right direction, or the best place to start, in order to achieve this? I’m not asking for a step by step guide, just a starting point to save me some time šŸ™‚

You can overwrite the below plugin file in your child theme and edit it.

      /add-search-to-menu/public/partials/is-ajax-results.php

      Another quick question…

I made a copy of the is-ajax-results.php file in my theme directory but it’s ignoring it. It only works if I make edits to the original. I’m assuming this is down to me not using the proper directory structure for it, but I’ve tried many different name options for it and nothing seems to matter.

the original file is located here:
      site-name/wp-content/plugins/add-search-to-menu-premium/public/partials/is-ajax-results.php

in my theme it is here:
      site-name/wp-content/themes/theme-name/add-search-to-menu-premium/public/partials/is-ajax-results.php

      does anything look wrong?

You should copy the file in the below theme directory.

      site-name/wp-content/themes/theme-name/is-ajax-results.php

You are always welcome, Iā€™m glad I was able to help you with this matter. There is no obligation but by your kind words I wonder if I could trouble you to leave a review based on this experience here:

      Iā€™d really appreciate that. šŸ™‚

And if I can be of any further assistance please don’t hesitate to ask.
