    Yes I did try that actually before deleting it. For some reason the problem reappeared even after clearing the cache.

    Okay I tried deleting Autoptimize and downloading it again and setting up the settings again but the same problem occured. I have now deleted and will probably wait with reinstalling. Any other plug-ins you can recommend to speed up a website?

    Thank you, seemed to have solved the problem! I deactivated autoptimize which made the issue go away.
    If I may ask, how did you find out that cache caused the problem? And is there anyway I can use autoptimize without it causing this issue?

    I can add additional CSS in the form of display:none to hide it. But for some reason the positioning of the input and search button have changed to. They are supposed to be lined up right below the magnifier and not move “home, About us, etc”.
