In your note about adding a field to help with the exclusion of batch pages:

You can add a custom field to the pages and exclude it in the search form as shown in the attached screenshots that will exclude those pages.

Would you be able to elaborate on what is required to set this field up (if in your plugin – we could not see the area to do this), or any documentation or direction to move this solution forward?

We are currently looking into getting the screenshot for the “limit” issue for you.
