      Hello to the workers at Ivory Search, thank you for your help.

      I installed the free version of Ivory Search a few weeks ago on this website https://www.pooltile.com.au and it was working well, thank you.
      Today I decided to upgrade to take advantage of being able to exclude Woocommerce products that are marked as Out of Stock.

      I paid for the upgrade through freemius and downloaded and installed the Pro Plus version of Ivory Search but when it came to activating the plugin I get sent to a Post SMTP window which asks me to Authorize by…clicking on the “Connect to Office 365” button.

      Which all goes through OK, and then I get to the final screen within Postman SMTP which shows a message from Ivory Search Pro Plus that says:
      “Yee-haw! Your account was successfully activated with the Pro Plus plan. Please follow the steps to complete the upgrade:
      1. Download the latest Pro Plus version
      2. Upload and activate the downloaded version
      See final screen 2 attachment.

      Which, when I do that…again…it starts the same process …again…when I click to “Activate”.

      I have used 2 zip versions, one on the complete payment page and another downloaded within Freemius, namely:
      add-search-to-menu-premium-latest.zip
      and
      add-search-to-menu-premium.5.5.2.zip
      but I am still stuck.

      All the correct account numbers are in the Account section of Ivory Search Plugin but something is going wrong which I can’t figure out.
      I have not attached the Ivory Search Account page screenshot but I will if you think it will help.

      I also tried clicking on
      Is this your client’s site? Click here if you wish to hide sensitive info like your email, license key, prices, billing address & invoices from the WP Admin.

      And then tried again but I am still getting sent to the Postman SMTP screen to “Authorize” (the email?)

      Can you help me please?

      Why does the Ivory search Pro Plus plugin require an email be sent from the site to activate it?
      I think it is an email conflict whereby only certain emails can be used to send from the site and the email I paid Freemius with th….@h….com.au is not an Office 365 authorized email address for this site.

      The Postman SMTP is a different plugin and it has nothing to do with the Ivory Search plugin.

      You will find the Ivory Search plugin options in the menu as shown in the attached screenshot.

      Can’t you give me a hint as to why this is happening during the activation of YOUR plugin which I have PURCHASED but can’t use?

      I have tested it on my test site and it’s working fine for me using the latest version of the Ivory Search and POST SMTP Mailer plugins.

      It seems your website specific issue so would you mind if I log in to your site and do quick troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please temporarily create an admin user account and share the account login details privately by checking the option “Set as private reply” when replying to this topic

      You can change your email address by logging into your below account using the same email address that you used when purchasing the plugin.

      Hello Keymaster
      No I can’t give you access and I can’t change my authorised email in Freemius without ruining all the other website plugins that I have running under that email address.
      I still want this plugin but I can’t activate it.
      If I uninstall it and instruct my client to buy it (again) and try to activate it, if they can activate it using their email address, will you give me a refund?
      I am uninstalling it now.

      I have read the terms of your refund but in my case I should have been warned about the fact the email used to buy the plugin through freemius must be able to send mail through the website that the Ivory search pro plus plugin is applied to.
      In my case where the Post SMTP plugin and the Office 365 paid extension to the Post SMTP plugin is used, my email address cannot be used to send mail from the website, which is YOUR problem with the way you choose to validate the Pro Plus plugin.
      I have not come across the same problem with the other Freemius paid plugins on the same site including WP sheet editor and the Office 365 extension to Post SMTP which use the same email to purchase them.
      I have also not come across any difficulty getting a refund from a plugin company where I can’t use their plugin, which is very disappointing as the time I am wasting on this is mounting up.

      Refunds will be offered at our sole discretion and must meet all of the following conditions fully:

      You are within the first 30 days of the purchase of the plugin.
      You have attempted to resolve your issue(s) with our support team by opening a support ticket through the “Contact Us” in the plugin’s admin settings.
      By upgrading, you agree to this refund policy and relinquish any rights to subject it to any questions, judgment or legal actions.

      This policy does not cover refunds for the following cases:

      Missing feature(s)
      3rd part conflict
      Discovering a better alternative
      Customer changed their mind
      Refunds ARE NOT provided for renewals.

      I just activated the Pro Plus version without a problem.
      The issue was that I had to deactivate/delete the free version before it would work.
      You should make this public so it can help other people.
