      Hello,

I am loving Ivory Search but have a question. On my website (http://acy.wxk.mybluehost.me/blog/), I am trying to use the dropdown option, which I think is the one that puts the search icon (magnifying glass) on the toolbar but, when you click on it, the search box expands out. I would like the icon to be on the toolbar (see attachment), but, when I click on it, to expands out to the right. Are my settings correct for this? Also, it’s not displaying as fuchsia. See attachment for screen shots of what I’m trying to do, as well as the settings I have chosen. Any help would be appreciated. I am using spectra one theme. Thanks!

      Beth

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

Your shared plugin settings seem correct as described below.

      Display Search Form In Menu

      Change Menu Search Form Style

Could you please tell me how you are displaying the menu on your website so I can help you to display the dropdown search?

      Best regards,
      Ivory Search Support

Hi there – I’m displaying the menu on my website in a template part using the default blocks provided by WordPress out of the box. I’m using spectra one theme. See screen shot of template part page in the editor.

Also, I see that two search bars are displaying (see attachment). Is it because I have 2 search forms active (default and ajax)? It won’t let me delete the default one. Trying to figure out the source of the 2 search bars.

        Thanks so much!

        Beth

      No

You can remove the search bar displayed in the header by configuring the plugin settings as shown in the attached screenshot.

You have to use the “Navigation Menu” widget in the block editor as described below.
