Would you mind if I log in to your site and do quick troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please temporarily create an admin user account and share the account login details privately by checking the option “Set as private reply” when replying to this topic?
@Ivana Novaković To help us keep the support thread separated could you please create your own thread for your question instead of posting a reply on others’ thread as it makes the thread messy and hard to read?
If you want to you can also add a reference to this thread in your newly created thread.
We would be more than happy to help you with your new thread.
Yes, you can achieve this by creating & configuring a new search form and then adding it to the page as described below.
You are always welcome here 🙂
You can achieve this by adding the below CSS code in the Custom CSS option of Ivory Search plugin settings on the path Admin Area -> Ivory Search -> Settings -> Settings
.is-menu.is-dropdown form.is-search-form { left: 0; right: auto; } .is-menu.is-dropdown .search-close { right: auto; left: -22px; }
It is not a solution I have said in my previous reply that You can just remove the post type added by the Ivory Search plugin by enabling the search form option as shown in the previously shared screenshot and then add a new post type by developing a custom code.
If you are not a developer, you can consider hiring a developer to develop it. You can hire a developer from any freelance site or WordPress agency.
You can also consider hiring me to develop it for you using the form https://ivorysearch.com/custom-work/
You can just remove the post type added by the Ivory Search plugin by enabling the search form option as shown in the attached screenshot and then add a new post type by developing a custom code.
You don’t need to use any Ivory Search plugin hook or modify its files.

Then it depends on how you have configured the Default Search Form to search it.
Could you please reset the search form by clicking on the Reset button and then only configure the Search Engine to Inverted Index Search Engine?
May 3, 2024 at 8:34 AM in reply to: Search “Post types” of only selected taxonomy, does not work. #20418I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
Could you please share the page URL from your site where it is happening so I can troubleshoot it?
