You are most welcome here 🙂
No, currently it is not possible to solve it without developing custom code.
The CSS code is only used to style and not to develop logic.
Developing custom code for custom functionality is beyond the scope of support that we provide here.
Hi Fahro,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
Yes, it is possible to search for posts by category but currently, it does not display categories in the dropdown to let users select as shown in your shared screenshot.
Best regards,
Ivory Search SupportAs requested above, please also tell me what output you are expecting.
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
I have tested it on my test site and it is working fine for me as shown in the attached screenshot.
This can be due to plugin conflict on your site so please try temporary deactivating all plugins except Ivory Search plugin and see whether everything works fine and then enable the plugins one by one to see which plugin is conflicting if any.
Best regards,

Do you mean they are the images of product post type and you do not want to display in the search results?
If yes then there is no setting to achieve this as we can’t distinguish images but you can exclude them from the search by selecting them in the search form Excludes section.

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
The search form only searches the content and display it in the order what you have configured it in the search form so please check it.
If it is not giving you the required results then please tell me how you have configured the search form by sharing its screenshots and what output you are expecting.

Could you please share the page URL from your site where it is displaying so that I can troubleshoot it?

Ivory Search SupportI hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
The search results page is displayed by the search.php file of the theme that you are using on your site so the plugin doesn’t control how the pages and its text will be displayed on the search results page but your site theme controls it.
You can change this developing custom code in the search.php file of your child theme by contacting the theme author or consider hiring a developer to develop it for you. You can hire a developer from any freelance site or WordPress agency.
You can also consider hiring us to develop it for you using the form https://ivorysearch.com/custom-work/
